I formatted the drive comparable with Apple computers, got rid of the onboard management software because I deemed it useless, in fact somewhat if a headache. I need the hard drive for storage, not as a funky flunky device to impress myself.

Convert From Seagate

So, I decided to give WD a try. I've only had this hard drive for a couple of months, but I'm impressed with the ease of use and how quiet it is. It also has nice feel and weight to it. Only time will tell if I will get more life out of this HD as compared to Seagate.

LOTS OF STORAGE
