These are always on sale or at a great price so u get a lot of storage for the price you pay.

I prefer backing up on a local storage drive and found this to be what I was looking for. Nice amount of storage for the price.

I did connect my portable drive to desktop computer and never disconnect it and set to automatic save data every times I go online.

My Passport 5TB Hardrive

I ran out of space on the first one, so I upgraded to 5TB. I would recommend that anyone purchase this unit and backup your PC monthly.

I was impressed by the consistent 110MB/s transfer speed when connected via USB.
