Great drive for backups

I have 3 different sizes of the Passport line from WD. They have all served me great and have provided great values and redundant backup drives. I connect them to my computer, start my backup, and the next morning I have a duplicate copy of everything, especially my family pictures. I do this with two separate drives just because I am very safety conscious. Great drive for the price.

Media Server Storage

I have had one blu ray and three DVDs playing simultaneously off the server all the while copying another DVD to the drive. While that attests to the awesomeness of the Pi, this drive obviously kept up with it without flinching. It didn’t even get warm to the touch. I haven’t had it long enough to speak to it’s longevity, but so far I’m very pleased.
