Good external hard drive for traveling with: Lighter than most, reliable with decent speed (this is my 14th purchase in various colors). Powered from the USB port/cable so there is no external power brick. If you are using a USB hub it will need to be a powered (external power added to the hub) since the amount being provided to the hub is not enough to power multiple drives. These are smaller and lighter than the prior models but come with black cords instead of color coded to the drive shell.

Exactly what I needed when I needed it! Needing some extra storage for pictures and videos for vacation, I decided just before leaving I should buy a new Portable Hard Drive. Best Buy never disappoints me with their variety and good quality. I have had several Passport External Hard Drives in the past, and I am also quite happy with this one. I highly recommend this product and appreciate Best Buy being there for my needs!

It's good storage, plug and play and quick to use. 4tb is a lot of space for whatever you might want to put on there. Compact and also durable.

Owned many WD external drives (Mostly WD My Book drives) over the years and have never been disappointed. This one is just the same. Purchased this to back up files on my failing old computer. Like the compact size and capacity. Only disappointment is Best Buy did not have the black color drive in stock, so I went with the Red.

Exactly what I was looking for and has complete 4TB storage. Will say before purchasing this it works for storing ps4 games only but can be used to play games on ps4 and ps5. Overall great product, would recomend!

We use a set of four disks to backup 2 servers. We cycle the disks on a set schedule. They have been extremely reliable and when we have needed them, they returned the data with no issues. When we installed two new servers we purchased a new set of disks based on their reliable and ease of use.

Perfect for Videos. I used this for a substitute NAS backup drive. I can carry my entire portable storage, now wherever I go. I no longer need to access FILES from a paid server. Saved a ton of money.

Used this for my Xbox one. Ran outta space on my console after only downloading 7 games now with this hard drive I have over 30 games and haven’t filled up half the space Easy to hook up the Xbox will reconfigure the hard drive for you and you can set the games to download directly to the hard drive automatically

It's a compact easy to find hard drive that makes me feel secure that my data is always backed up. I plug it in every day so I never have to worry that if anything happened to my hard drive that I wouldn't have a back up. Nothing confusing about it. No setup or lengthy instructions. Plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Not too much to say about these. It's a great, (relatively) fast, reliable portable hard drive. The newer Plus models have USB-C and a metal body, but these (plastic) Passport drives come in brighter colors which are great for identifying individual drives at a glance. The color is kind of an electric blue. Bright and bold.

Seagate external harddrives are always great. This one has a good amount of space powered by just a single usb cord

I was looking to replace an old 1TB storage device, another brand, that was making noises and possibly going to fail. Pleased this doubled my capacity and was reasonably priced...plus in stock. Would have likely purchased a smaller unit; but for the extra $, if it operates ok, it will provide years of storage.

As someone who has lost important data through a computer crash, this was a good option. It is easy to use, and am able to retrieve data once backed up. I have had for about 6 months - so far, so good.

Anyone who works with a mobile device should have one of these to use as a back up, especially anyone who travels for work like I do. I love the color, it's stylish, sturdy and it's small enough so it doesn't take up too much space in my purse or my bag.

It's fast, has handy apps, extremely portable, huge at 4TB and seems reliable so far. Western Digital - accept no substitutes! Been using their products for over 20 years (yeah, I'm older), and know what works and what doesn't. Buy this if you something with these specs!

This portable hard drive is easy to use and really easy to carry. You could use it on a windows or Apple computer. I own a Apple MacBook Pro and it was easy to install the software to use it. It’s great to keep your files safe and secure.

I need a lot of external storage for my music in DJ business. This is my 4th 4T drive. Leaves plenty of space to store future music as my library grows I find it quite durable and rugged because I take them out on my DJ jobs and have had no failures
