    Fast communication with my desk top and laptop systems via USB3 made backup and transfer simple. The included cable is just long enough (~16") for my situation, but may be short for some people. Compact if you need to transport, and since it doesn't need external power is convenient. I've used the Passport series of drives for years w/o any problems.

    I really like Western Digital drives - they always work perfectly and usually outlast all other brands. It is relatively very sleek given its storage. Works great and it even comes in other than "boring" black. I highly recommend it.

    I remember 30 years ago buying a 40 MB external for $249. This 4TB baby cost just over $100 and uploaded its operating software much faster. We’re so lucky to have a company like Best Buy with stores close by where we can ask questions from knowledgeable people and walk out with the product we need.
