This product has good memory size, I have thousands of photos and other files including the back up of my mac is in this storage drive.

A must have for Mac users.

Also because of Apple Time Machine this is a must have especially since it's shock proof. Being in my backpack I don't need to worry banging it and losing my important documents and projects.

WD ALWAYS DECENT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Macbook Pro and use it primary for backing up my DropBox files. I have no problem turning off and on DB in order for it to properly sync. It has no problem backing up and keeping my files. However, with that being said...I am not happy with the quality of the connection. The first couple of weeks, it performed just fine. However, now, the connection through the USB is iffy if at all. I plug it in, the light is on, but unless I "toggle" it a bit it won't "see" the the external drive. This gets frustrating. I can go on DB and download files, but of course, if I've made changes on the hard drive before opening DB for the sync, they are not online, but only on the Passport. Yes, I have the latest Mac update, Yosemite, so maybe that is the problem, or I need to get another cord (rather the company should send me one...I will be contacting customer service). It's a great unit, but I need that connection to be a firm one anytime, all the time...
