A good purchase for peace of mind

Needless to say, they were lost and I agonized over the matter. Having a good backup option like the WD My Passport has been great.

This has plenty of storage space. Although I use TimeMachine, I have this as a secondary backup because you can never be too safe. Every day I move work off my desktop and to this hard drive. It keeps my desktop clean and my documents safe.

Mac offsite backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having my Macbook pros' HD corrupted beyond recovery, I decided using this as an offsite backup might save me the time and trouble of having to reload everything on a blank Mac again. I have not had any problems with this external and found it easy to setup and use with my Mac and hope the need never arises.
