This is my 2nd WD External drive and it works great

I bought this external hard drive for my Mac, I like it! It was super easy to backup my computer, i just plugged it in and followed the on screen directions! I would totally recommend this product!

Plenty of space to save pictures and videos. Allows me to manually control what I save and when I save it and where I save it - as opposed to automatic backups that other external drives provide you.

My passport arrived in good condition. Very portable and easy to use. Just connect to your computer and the on screen prompt does the rest. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Mac ready, easy transfer of music and pictures from my iMac to my MacBook Pro. I back up once a month for security. 1TB enough space to holds my 10K pics and 3K songs and room for 1000's more :)

really love how small it is. i had the wall plug hard drives and this is a big upgrade when m on the go. i would recommend this item if you are looking to expand storage to your new macbook

Great product for the price. This is my second WD Passport hard drive and I couldn't be happier. The only reason I bought a second one was because my other one was full and I needed more space.

Haven't had it long enough for anything to go wrong yet. Cit seems like these hard drives never last very long.

I bought this backup drive because I ran out of space on my Mac. I now use this exclusively to store pictures and videos that I do not want to keep on my Mac. Excellent Purchase!!

This brand of storage drive is highly recommended if you have a MacBook and if need a terabyte of memory.

The WD Passport for Mac installed the driver when attached as expected. I was expecting to install the WD app for backup but the onboard TimeMachine app started and asked if it should use this WD Passport as the backup device. I gave approval, it did an auto configure and started the backup.

I got this external hard drive because my MacBook got full and I needed more space for it. This has helped me a whole lot! No more of those pop ups telling me my MacBook is full.

I used this product first to backup the iMac I was replacing. Then I used it to load the saved info to my new iMac. Worked with ease and made the process easy for real amateur.

I buy one of these every time I get a new computer. I'm a musician and can't lose what I've worked hard on. It is a great backup memory that easily fits in my desk drawer.

Small, portable. I transferred tens of thousands of pictures on it to make my computer faster. It's not much faster after all but I like that the pictures are safe on the drive.

This external drive does what it says and looks really sleek. I appreciate that it was made to be compatible with Macs and that makes it so much easier backing up my files.

The HD did it job as expected. Higher rating maybe due to this being my first 3.0 external, but it's quicker than expected. All hardware and cords came with it.
