I feel like I should have purchased a 2TB drive instead to cover both of my laptops. The set up was very easy, I didn't have to do much at all except plug it in and say yes backing it up. However an apple associate had a better choice to back up my computer. I wish I spoke to him first especially if the hard drive gets dropped.

Excellent Time Machine Backup for Mac

So I tried the password and forgot it and had to erase everything. Luckily it was still new, so not many days were deleted. An easy process to delete. Don't do the password unless you remember it! There is no way out.

Lost everything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I successfully saved everything off my laptop when it was going out to be repaired...all the info on my laptop was wiped out by the geek squad....when I went to download from the hard drive to my laptop, a message came up saying it was corrupt...i lost everything...thousdands of family photos that can never be replaced
