Raid Issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have El Capitan, do not use the WD utility that installs with this. If you do, your backup will fail and a message "RaId configuration issues" will come up. Uninstall WD utilities and everything will work fine. Unfortunately, this means you cannot password protect your Passport. If this is important, don't buy this until WD or Apple fixes the issue.

WD - My Passport for Mac 1TB

Had Configuration Problem

Continue to get "RAID Configuration Issue" messages. WD support contacted me once and told me I had to reformat for Mac since it was originally configured for windows. What>>>>>>it is called My Passport for Mac???????? I emailed again and no on e has responded.
