I recently upgraded from my MacBook Pro to an iMac courtesy o the Best Buy open box program. This hard drive made it very simple to backup and transfer all my files efficiently to my new iMac.

Great way to free up space on your MacBook Air

I had too many photos and videos on it and wasn’t able to download Lightroom Classic CC for editing. Buying this product allowed me to transfer everything over, delete from my MacBook and download what I needed. Worked like a charm.

The external hard drive is no longer recognized. I hope WD is updating their software to match the new Apple IOS.

Great quality, small price, smaller footprint

I love the My Passport.. half the price of the same size hard drive as years ago and, probably 1/8th the footprint on the desk. Everything I need, no strange cords, very little space = what's not to love!

Great for redundant backup

The price on these drives make it affordable to keep images on multiple drives so I don't have to worry about corrupting files or crashes. I have had zero issues with any of my Western Digital Passports for Mac.

Easy to use, very intuitive

This product has high ease of use and I was able to backup my entire MacOS within 15 minutes. I am very pleased with this purchase and am a fan of WD hardware in general. This was a great value.

Stopped at a competitor listing it on sale. Completely sold out. On a whim went to Best Buy and found they had it for the same price. Very happy.
