Had to look up the best way to partition this drive, as the instructions on how to do that operation were a little lite on the Mac and PC split. But, overall it runs like a champ.

Drive came pre-formatted for Mac OS. Pretty much just plug and play. Use the drive for backups of Mac HD. Seems to work well, could be a little faster though. So far so good.

I am really pleased with the WD My Passport for Mac 1 TB. I can leave it in and it automatically backs up my hard drive on my Mac Pro.

If you want extra storage, this is the product for you! Worked well with my Apple. Remember to UN-click the "auto back up every minute" it will fill up the 1 terabyte fast.

Works great for backing up my Mac book. Have a cloud back up but wanted a 2nd back up for photos, videos and documents to clear up space. It's nice, small storage as well.
