This is a great external hard drive. It does everything you want it to do, and its compact size makes it highly portable. My only hesitation is that this WD passport HD is a replacement for another WD passport HD that I'd had for less than a year when it suddenly stopped working. So I hope the first was just a glitch.

Plug-and-play. Went from out of the box to backing up my mac on time machine in minutes. Fast file transfer made it quick and easy. Good looking and small piece of hardware too.

I always wanted extra storage bcuz i ve macbook pro , which dont come with alot of harddrive , easy to setup plug n play , n make automaticly the whole backup of your data

Bought this to use with my MacBook. Works very easily and will hold all of my pictures for years to come. Because it was so easy to use, I also purchased one for a friend.

Price was better than expected, and I've been using it for awhile now with no issues. Does everything I need it to, and I would buy again if I ever need to for any reason.

No big surprise but this product is just exactly what I needed and just exactly what it was supposed to be. It didn't go above or beyond what it was supposed but it worked.

This is made for a mac and I found it simple and easy to use when setting up. I will continue to use this product

I prefer WD Drives over SeaGate and this one is no exception. After a scary Mac crash, I figured it was time to finally buy a backup. Works seamlessly with TimeMachine.

I purchased this product so that I can back up many video and photos that I have on my Mac. Storage space is sufficient for my needs. I will buy another if the need arises.

I had an issue with my Mac and had to copy the whole hard drive. This did it easily and I was able to restore from my copy. Now it is a permanent backup for any issue.

The hard drive is reliable. Couldn't ask for more. Used with a Mac, so needed to do a tiny bit of extra setup to work with TimeMachine, but it works, so I'm happy!
