Very easy to set up

I leave it plugged in 24/7 since I have a desktop. I didn't realize that you have to ask for either the mac version or the windows version. The salesman didn't say anything about what type of computer I had. It worked out well and I am very happy with my purchase.

My Passport for Mac works

Had to go to two Best Buys to find this and it was not easy. I was given the wrong info about other products and almost bought something that would not have worked. Be sure you fine the "Mac Expert" if you go to buy this product.

Using as Time Capsule for MacBook Pro

Great for grandkids

She was thrilled and so was I because I didn't have to buy her a new laptop

I t immediately asks if you want to create a time machine backup. Just follow the directions. After that it's just one click of the button to back up your files again! This is my 2nd purchase of this product.
