It was quite easy to just plug into my computer. I don't know if I need to keep it plugged in or if I can take it out when I am not using the computer.

Great washer

The 4 stars because I cannot leave the lid open as it fills with water. I liked doing that in my previous washer because I could add the clothes to soapy water instead of right on to the concentrated soap. I'll adjust. Other than that I love it. The clothes seem dryer when I move them to the dryer so drying is faster.
