It was easy and all data was saved and put back on machine without a problem. I had bought a similar WD Passport two years ago and it would not back up the system. It would always fail to backup. I rushed to the local Best Buy and purchased this new one. I avoid Best Buy on line ordering when possible.

easy to save data

I have it saved on this Portable Hard Drive and won't need to pay for backup if the computer needs to be fixed again.

Works great during warranty period.

Backup, Backup, Backup to more than one source (cloud, another hard drive, ect, ect.) Till they fail they perform well. Just watch the warranty expiration date.

Reliable portable storage
