I purchased this for one reason. I always have a ton of pictures and videos on my phone and computer and they take up so much space.Now I can transfer all of my stuff onto my laptop and pretty much just drag and drop it into the Passport. I know pretty much next to nothing about all of this technology but once I plugged the Passport in it was pretty straight forward. I do have a Macbook and it also works with Apple Time Machine. I don't really know how that works either but I do know this Passport now has all of my backup information in case something happens to the computer. I don't know how long it will take me to fill up the space on this thing but I would purchas again if I ran out of space.

I am happy with the product but it took two tries to get it installed. Other than that it seems to be working fine.

Compact, quiet, versatile 2TB Drive. Works seamlessly and effectively with my MacBook laptop. Use it with TimeMachine. Have another to use just as an extra external drive. WD made a great product!

After having my Hdd delete files on me, I needed to get a portable HDD to use for backups. This unit works perfect, is small, plenty of storage, and works seamlessly with Time Capsule on Mac.

I have purchased several WD Portable Hard Drives over the last few years. I have found them to be very reliable and easy to set up and use. Great for backing up everything! A must!!!

So easy to attach to my MacBook. I use it primarily for backup photo storage which i highly recommend if you care about you memories. WD drives have always worked well for me.

The WD external HD for Mac is "plug and play" and works great. I'm using it for my photos. I have quick and easy access for all my large photos without filling up space on my Mac for other things. I went back to Best Buy and bought a second HD for my music and movies.

You canopen it and install it in seconds. Strt usinh it almost immediately. It is sleek and I pit a backup of all my poctures there that I can take anywhere.

I bought this because my iMac has over 30k in pictures and videos so I cannot afford for it to break down and lose all. Since I bought a laptop, I decided to include this so I can finance it altogether. It's so simple, all I do is attach the cable and connect it and then the iMac time machine shows up. All you have to do is click the back up botton and that's it. Mine took at least 5 hrs to complete but it's done. There's also YouTube tutorial for this product. For now, I just unplug it and I plan to back up every now and then by using macs time machine.

I needed a place to put all my extra stuff so that it does not clutter my laptops memory. This passport is perfect for all my pics and documents.

I recommend this drive for anyone using a MAC and wish to have a reliable HD to use for Time Machine backups. Setup was a breeze.
