Use this for backing up a MacBook Pro laptop which is aged. Laptop is working better since the use of this hard drive. Plugged the unit into the Mac and was able to download the program with ease. Extremely easy to use.

Who doesn’t need more space given the size of pictures and videos. This is made for Mac and is a must given the internal hard drive remaining clear will keep its speed more easily. Good deal.

This external HD seemed best for my needs to save data from a dying laptop in order to transfer to a new one. Best Buy staff handled the process expertly since I am not comfortably skilled with this technology.

I have several of these drives because you can never have enough backups of valuable data. These are reliable, and I've never had one fail. I can't afford to lose manuscripts, so I rely on the WD drives. They also give large drives at good prices.

It is a great hard drive that IS compatible with Mac products. took me a few attempts with other hard drives to find the one that was PnP for Apple and Mac products, but glad I finally got one!
