Easy to hook up and does not take up a lot of room.

I researched different brands before purchasing this and reading reviews. I haven’t been disappointed. It holds all my files with lots of room for more and is mounted right on top of my MacBook

WD pretty much owns the portable hard drive market so there aren't a ton of choices. Works as described and is pretty fast but boy is thing fragile. While editing in Premier, my laptop fell and it disconnecting from the port, and the outcome was catastrophic. A small common mishap led to paying $1000 to recover the data from the drive. Word to the wise - be EXTREMELY careful with this Ext HD! Back up to another drive, invest in a case, or something to give you peace of mind if and when this thing breaks.

This is an excellent external hard drive for Mac users. I would recommend it without hesitation.

I’m always backed up and ready for any issue regardless of the time or place. I have plenty of space and sleep easy! Also, I do not have monthly payments to store and protect my data.

data transfer is pretty fast and compatible with MacOS. definitely recommend other people
