Eventually, when I attempted to access my files, they were erased. Despite this, it does work well with Microsoft Windows.

Portable and Easy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This WD hard drive is great for Mac owners. Drive is plug and play as it is already formatted for Macs. In regards to physical size, this is definitely the smallest of the hard drives I own. As small as it is, the drive does not sacrifice performance. Transfer speeds are great and the drive is extremely quiet. The perk of the WD software for the drive is the ability to encrypt it with password protection. This is great for me as I often have my MacBook out and about. I also appreciated the fact that it came with a USB-A and USB-C cable. I feel this was well thought out to ensure we wouldn’t have a connection issue. Overall, this a an excellent drive giving me and extra 2tb of storage in a pocket size format. Well made and great performance. Will definitely get a second as backup to my backup down the line.
