    I wanted a backup drive to work with my MacBook Pro. I specifically wanted one that was USB-C which this one said that it was. In reality it was a standard USB connection with an adaptor on it to use with USB-C. Not really what I was looking for but I still kept it and it appears to work ok.

    This product itself is great. I was using it with my MacBook Pro that I got in 2015 for college. What I didn't know is that when you update you mac, this thing doesn't save your stuff any more. So all of the pictures and movies I saved on it, isn't assessable to me anymore due to an update. Be wary of this. I was told to call apple support to fix the issues, but it became more complicated than it was worth.
