This was very easy to set up and use. Perfect! It is very small, about the size of a wallet but half as thick. Just plug it in and in about a minute it is ready to go. I leave it plugged in because it takes up hardly any space at all.

After installing this to my Mac, the performance of my Mac improved significantly. Removing the thousands of pictures and videos from my laptop increased the speed and output. Definitely recommend this as an external device.

Already formatted for MAC this is virtually a plug-n-play device. It is easy to leave it running for continuous backups, and it is simple to undoc when you are on the go. I am very satisfied with this device.

Great to have such a huge drive for backing up years of files, photos, videos on my iMac! Easy to use. Just plug in and activate back up. Plenty of room left. Will get another, smaller for Macbook

I needed extra storage as I used my External HardDrive to back up my work Mac. I needed something that was compatible with Mac as they no longer have USB Ports, this gave me the storage I needed with the cord for a Mac. Plus it's Blue and teeny so it's cute! Will need to buy a case though to keep it more secure in my LapTop Bag.

Fantastic External Hard Drive. Easy to setup, easy to use. Works great with my wife's MacBook Pro.

The products were of reasonable price, and not too bulky. Was looking for a lightweight ring and computer backup charger both performed well. The light ring and tripod is easy to carry with you and has many different parts to adjust. Also the wd Mac external hard drive was not implicated to backup your photos. There is not much to do but plug it in , no programming or complicated stuff. I would recommend both products

Works as advertised. I’ve imported photos, videos, and docs on mine and it’s great! Also comes with free cloud storage as an option. Pretty decent transfer speeds.

No problem with the compatibility of this hard drive to my macbook. I've read some having issues but not with mine. Transfer is fast. Very happy with this purchase.

If I had the choice to purchase this product again, I would have bought the regular one and just formatted it for Mac instead. The reason why I say this is because I no longer need it for my Mac, but this is only specifically formatted for Mac whereas the others, the same exact price and same exact one, are able to be formatted for PC or with my Xbox, so I can’t share files with my PC friends or family and I can’t use it on my Xbox for extra games. Other than that it’s great. It holds a lot of my stuff but I just don’t need it for my Mac anymore so I feel like I wasted money. At least the other regular one can be formatted for Mac AND PC so I could have shared files back and forth. Just another incident where I should have done my homework before buying. I suggest you do the same!

I bought this hard drive to backup my Apple MacBook Air. Easy to setup, paired easily with the MacBook. I recommend this product to anyone who is interested in using an external hard drive on their Apple products.
