I bought it for my Mac Air. Its more memory for less money, a good buy

It's a great backup for any Mac user. Works flawlessly with any Apple laptop. I have 3 MacBooks and a My Passport for each. I just recently replaced my MacBook Pro, plugged in My Passport and all my info transferred without a single problem

Why spend more money when this drive works well? There's not much you really want from a drive other than for it to show up on your desktop and accept data easily and reliably. Mission accomplished and at a good price.

Needed to get something to back up the computer on a regular basis. The very helpful staff suggested this as it was compatible with MAC Does what I needed and I am happy.

I was working on editing videos and the project became larger than anticipated. I bought this external and I'm very happy with it. If you're looking for an external to do movie editing, consider firewire.

The backup is an excellent way to back up your computer if you are using a Mac. It is very easy to use even for a beginner. I never used "Time Machine before and it was seamless.

I purchased this on sale as a backup drive for my macbook air... seems fine, lightweight but sturdy and attractive. We'll see how it lasts over time but I like it so far!

I try another brand but had a problems with it. It was a off brand. This drive works great and I like it very much. Looks great too. Matches my Mac book pro.

Super easy to use and set up. I like the password protection feature. There's nothing fancy about it, but it does exactly what it's supposed to.

I bought this in order to clear out my old computer, it did not come with very clear instructions I had to watch a tutorial on YouTube to figure out the partition but after that it was a breeze. Just drag and drop

This product was fairly easy to install. Although I would prefer directions in text for installation, I was able to install the hard drive following the illustrations and then was able to access the User's Manual.
