Marketing hype

I expected easier set up, or improved compatibility, but I actually had a little difficulty with initially setting it up. I eventually got it to work, and it is now working just fine. But I payed $20 extra hoping for improved function, or at least more convenience. I did not receive either. Don't lét the PS4 marketíng persuade you!

Usb connection can be an issue

Horrible customer service Bad product quality Useless warranty I’m out another $120 having to buy a 4Tb because they didn’t have a 2Tb

Works Great! Easy Setup!

Good brand, if not specifically for ps4...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought 2 WD HDDs not "for the ps4" no problems at all, let it be noted, both were only 1TB. This drive has had to be repaired by the ps4 pro repeatedly since I've bought it, less than a year ago. PS says it wasn't disconnected properly (never disconnected it at all), causes the 3 beep non-shutdown issue. I don't know if it causes the issue with my VR processor not shutting down as well, but this HDD, "specifically for the ps4" has more problems than solutions. The kicker, you still have to format it when you connect it! So, it's not worth the headache from what I've encountered.
