As long as you plug the drive in after opening the tablet it runs fine. Tablet will not open with drive already plugged in Works for what I need it to do. Very stiff USB connection cord and drive connection feels weak . I am very carefule connecting and disconnecting it

Nice but Slow

I needed more space to use for work and thought this would be perfect. WD stated that it's write speed is up to 512. I go nowhere close to that on black magic. It's only hit about 350 write speed. I returned it and purchased Samsung T3 instead and are really happy with that.
