I used this to back up photo's it seems to work ok

Needed to replace an older external drive and this one was recommended - Price was right and it works great.

I bought this together with the SanDisk 500 SSD to compare the two and I am definitely happier with the SanDisk because it is less prone to smudging and seems like its a bit more rugged that the WD. The WD it still a nice drive though, you can download the WD Passport software which would be the only pro for this drive over the SanDisk - the software does wonders especially if you use Windows.

I purchased this drive to allow myself access to a fast drive that would allow me to game on the New Dell AMD laptop I purchased from you. I was more than happy, more surprised the performance gain I received with the combination gain.

Compact & quick device with good price. Only wished it had blue tooth capability.

for my first ssd this wasn't bad after all, no problems saving video files to it, runs real smooth.

Product works, but I question the long term reliability. The one I purchased turned so hot it would burn your hands. You had to let it cool down before moving it to a pocket or other safe location. Maybe I just had a bad one.

Product allows for speedy access to data and allowing for more productivity.

So far this SSD Drive has been a great upgrade to my old one. It’s fast transfers and load times are way better.

I like the small rugged case. If the device is kept plugged in for very long, it runs a little warm. Otherwise, I like it.

My Mac was running out of space due to the amounts of phots and videos I have from traveling. First time buying a hard drive and it’s perfect. So slime and small. Not bulky what so ever and plent of space. Cannot complain.

I item works well as expected and the encryption is fast enough for me. I recommend the product.

after purchase and the geek squad set up laptop,, automatic backup worked fine and due to personal use,, set up to when backup will start,, did just that and did not have to worry when backup will start even when system was turned off for awhile,,

It’s compact, fast, and helps my girlfriend manage all of her old computers data. It literally enabled her to run a high powered game off of her computer that due to hard drive space, she couldn’t before.

Comes with both USB and USB-Type-C port, it transfers at speeds of up to 540MB/sec. Looks very good, packaged well and compared to other brands it is an excellent bargain. 3 year warranty too. Much cooler than the spindle version as another note.

Nice design, feels good. I like the speeds but was a little pricy.

wanted a external hard drive to store my files with a password protected device and not on the cloud. Works perfectly but it is not faster than the hard My Passport drives which i thought it would be.

This little WD Passport SSD is great for travel and work! I have a small billing service and need a solid backup so NO information is damaged or lost. This WD-solid state drive is the ONLY type of backup I will use. NO MOVING PARTS to break!

For the price, it was perfect for my needs! I used it for my Tesla Model 3 to write fast and up the storage for sentry cam and dash cam recordings.
