I had purchased a refurbished item to save $15 over this unit, same model and capacity. My Win10 PC would install the drivers and display the drive in Device manager but I could not access it, not in File Explorer or anywhere. Googled for about 20 minutes to troubleshoot before deciding to return to the online retailer, $15 savings not worth the trouble. This new unit was truly plug and play, and transfer speeds are truly SUPER fast! Great little unit to back up my video and movie files!

Great external portable drive! Especially for the price

I am pleased with the product and I know the reputation is good; it's reliable, sturdy, and secure, and reasonably priced.

I like external hard drives that stand out, in this case, the ruby burgundy color helps distinguish ownership. Also, the slim design also helps with transporting. I know the Cloud Protection is one of its big deals but honestly I don't have a need nor have tried the Cloud Protection feature as I literally use this as a hard drive for photo and video storage. I leave it connected to my Sony Blu-Ray player via USB and thus I can watch movies or view photos from it also. No issues thus far.

Easy to use and I am happy with the small size. My last 1 TB hard drive required a power cable and it was 3 times as big.

This hard drive is very slim and portable yet has a lot of storage perfect for all ur photos or miscellaneous files.

I had to purchase an external hard drive to pull all my info from my laptop that decided it was time to take the great sleep. Quick and easy, got the job done. I'll have to update later when it has some age on it. Hopefully the internal power supply can sustain the vigorous 4 times I intend on actually powering up this device!
