I bought this for storing my pictures. 1 TB will save all my pictures for now... Very handy and easy to use

My computer is now able to get more memory and the speed went up a bit. I can still save more in the hardrive.

I was worried it would be hard to get it operating. But it was easy and unit is much smaller than the external hard drive it replaced. Old unit stopped working -- that was a surprise.

I use the WD Passport as my back-up device for my computer. The USB 3 is fantastically fast! I was using a PNY USB device before and experienced very slow performance. So glad I bought this!

This is my first time using an external hard drive and I found it easy to use. In the small paper guide that comes with it, there's a link to an actual online owner manual that details how to install the software and what to do after like save files. This was really helpful! After I had backed up my files as directed, I found that I prefer to backup my files manually buy saving them to the "Passport" like one would with a flash/thumb drive.

Small enough to carry in your pocket or purse but large enough for all your storage needs. Great value!

consolidating & ridding my home office of many old computers, but keeping old documents, photos, memories was key. My Passport Ultra 1TB did exactly what I'd hoped! Now to view all the things I thought were lost when older computers went 'belly up' are again alive! Couldn't really ask for anything more in an external portable hard drive. Next task, find a way to transfer even older hard drives pulled from past computers. I think it's possible!

simple set up easily to use very small foot print its a great drive for keeping pics or music on

Bought this for a friend and he was thrilled. Said it was the best thing ever and came in so handy. Anything less than 1 TB is not worth it if you plan on keeping your files for some time.

This is a good product. There is a lot of storage space for whatever your needs are, however I had some issues with syncing with my computer. Nevertheless, a good value for the money.

Did my research and wasn't disappointed. Best Buy also had the best price. Small and lots of memory.

It lived up to my expectations for what I purchased it for which was a portable hard drive that I could back my pc on and to store any miscellaneous data on. I haven't had any issue so far.

Nice to have 1 TB of space on a solid state drive that I can easily take with me to store my pictures.
