Customer Ratings & Reviews

I have been using western digital products. Always reliable. Easy to use

I got this hard drive to replace one that broke before it. This one works great so far. But if it stops working. I'll kill it. Just like the one before.

having had a computer crash, this was a "must" buy. I'm not a techie, but with the help of a neighbor we installed the device and it copied files quickly.

A 1TB external hard drive for a great price. Very easy to use and reliable.

Easy to use, just plug it in. Slim, sleek look, fits in pocket, portable.

The only negative, it comes with no directions, making it a bit difficult to setup. On the other hand, being able to backup the computer, is a big plus.

This is excellent storage for videos and HD photos. Very convenient to use.

Easy to transfer to this hard drive. It doesn't take much space at all.

A good standard sized drive. It can be used for both PC & Mac platforms.

These are great drives, small, good price, and easy setup backup software.

After asking a Geek Squad member about backing up my personal computer it was suggested that I use this item. I was given a full explanation on how and when to use it. I am retired and was active in the working world during the pre-technology era.

I got this at a great price. Its a great product. If you need extra space.

Product is as described, which means everything to me. Configuring for Mac was easy. Setting a password was easy also. I am not sure why anyone would pay the $4-$5 extra for the other one which has "password protection" written on the case. Speed was good, and normal from what I would expect from a regular HDD. Good space. Looks decent. All in all, a good purchase.

The Passport portable storage is great because of its size as well as the WD reputation. Price is good too.

Works perfectly most of the time. I used it on different computers. I tried to use it on my 2015 Sony receiver but didn't work. I am not sure what was the problem. I can give 5 stars if the problem has to do with my receiver or stereo in my car.

Has just the right amount of space and it was pretty simple to set up.

It's definitely ample space and gets the job done for a reasonable price.

Awesome hard drive for a simple encryption of data. I have used two of these now for a while and love them. Quick and easy on both Mac and PC formats!

Easy to use and holds a lot. You are also able to use it on your ps4.

Do you really want a review of an external hard drive? OK, here goes ... I plugged it in to the computer. I downloaded files I wanted to save as a backup. I unplugged the external drive and cheered and applauded. And here's the best part; when I plugged the drive back in a week later, the files were still there!!! God bless America!!! Now, if it could only make toast.
