Perfect device to backup my MacBook Air!

My access is 100% available at all times, with or without internet access. With all the security breaches in the cloud, I feel safer taking my data and storing it locally so I can protect my data personally. Also, having 1 TB allows me plenty of room for a partition, if desired.

Good harddrive for the price

I guess I am one of those that still has not completely made the transition to Cloud Storage, maybe because of the cost, trust, and convenience issues I still have. the only thing i would change is the ability to easily backup only certain type files from various PCs/ laptops and store them in different folders so that it is easy to add other files for future backups.

Simple, quick and compact

I got this HDD to store and transport photo and videos, and since it's purchased have found additional uses for it thanks to its ease of use, and it's ability to be powered by 1 USB port. This has allowed me to easy take it from laptop to laptop, and even to TVs to share slideshows, videos and more with my family.

Did exactly what I expected from it.

After upgrading, I did another image backup of both computers. Then the unthinkable happened - hard disk crash. After replacing the disk, recovery was a snap. I rolled in the image and my system ram perfectly. All my programs and data were restored.
