Upon receiving this hard drive, I was immediately content with the purchase. It is a simple, and large (1Tb) hard drive that fit my needs exactly. I needed a way to store file at my office in order to be able to use a personal laptop for work purposes. This is easy to set up with the Wizard (less than five minutes), and easily can be unlocked too use (launches when connected.) I would easily recommend this product. An another feature that was satisfying is the ability to sync with Dropbox as well.

I got this to add 1TB of storage space to my 500G Xbox One. The process couldn't have been easier. Plug the included cable into the external HDD and then into the back of the Xbox One. The unit is automatically detected and two options are offered. Choose games and in less than one minute the drive is re-formatted and ready for use.

It's been backing up my MacBook Pro for several weeks now, and has been working fine. The speed is good because of its USB 3.0 support

This is my second MyPassport drive, so set up was easy and quick. It was simple to setup and execute the automatic backup function. I was also able to transfer about 150 Gb of files from another drive to store on this unit. WD makes a solid product and at an extremely reasonable price. We now own 3 units - 2 1TB and this new 2Tb drive.

This is a lot of power and storage in a very small package!

This is just what I needed to back up my pictures and videos, there is a lot of space and it is easy to use tight out if the box.

Does what it's intended to do, back up my desktop PC. This is my second one. I had a My Passport Edge that quit working after a year. Could no longer access or communicate to external hard drive. Hope this one lasts longer.

I bought this drive when it was on sale for $59.99. Used a $20 rewards certificate so got the drive for $43.69 after tax. I bought this 1TB drive to replace a similar WD 300GB Drive that I have been using since July 2008, that my files have outgrown. I am looking forward to many years of use out of this drive. WD makes a great product.

The hard drive looks nice.. its a very good finish , the cable is stable and steady. The speed is pretty fast being a 3.0 USB cable.... and I like that you can put a password... if you have a mac, you need to format it... it works perfect.. and you need to install the mac software... i have formated it to work with bot and tis excellent..
