I purchased this drive to back up in clone a Mac hard drive as I migrated to a new computer. It's giving me peace of mind to know that I can store my entire hard drive via clone to this drive. I gave my old Mac to my wife and she happily uses it and I know that at any point I can access all the files if I need to.

Small but powerful and dependable. I use it daily.

I shopped around for a couple days and read reviews online and ultimately decided on this one. I love the color and its small and light weight compared to alot of them out there. I ended up connecting mine to my xbox one and it was perfect. I definitely recommend it to anyone. It does have other color options as well.

Works perfect. Picked this based on size of Hard Drive and Price. No issues with this unit. Don't care about the color as this was the color with the best price. I formatted this External Hard Drive to work with both Mac and PC.

I bought a low cost HP laptop with AMD chip. I need this just for emails, web browsing and playing CD's and DVDs. - no gaming, no streaming, although streaming works well on this computer. Although Windows 10 does not have DVD playing software, HP has Cyberlink Media Player software built in. Being a low cost computer it does not have the multi pin connection for a monitor - however I bought an adapter that uses the HDMI connector. This computer works well for the price.

I have been using this external hard drive since I purchased it. Great product.

This drive works quickly when connected to USB 3.0 ports. I copied media from my old drive over to this drive and then connected it to my router to use it as network attached storage. Set up is really straight forward and the size would be convenient if I needed to take it with me. I opted for the 1TB model, but if you plan to save lots of HD or better video files you may want to step up to a larger capacity model. This just fit my needs at a decent price so I went for it.

I chose to get this WD back up external hard drive because one of the employees told me he recommended it! I love it!

easy to use and plenty of space on the 1tb. Its light and easy to travel with. Good security and easy to store.
