I have a number of external drives and have found the WD drives to be very good quality. This drive has good performance across a USB 3, and the case seems rugged enough to survive typical traveler usage.

This portable harddrive is my go to for immediate storage. I've probably purchased 3 of them for work at this point. Pros - USB 3.0 Speed, small size, nice sleek compact case, All in one USB 3.0 cable Cons - Included cable is too short, no rubber feet to keep it from sliding off the desk if there is tension on the cable As you can see, not too many complaints. I'll probably start buying the 2tb version soon, but for now I have a fleet of these in service.

I got the much needed external storage that I needed for a great price. Easy to set-up & move from device to device.

This is the third WD passport external hard drive I have purchased for my computers. These hard drives work silently and effectively with no problems.

Needed extra storage for pictures and books, this makes it way to transport and not take up space on my computer.

I've tried other brands of portable drives only to find that they just stop working after a while. WD in the past has been the most reliable and I've never had an issue with their products It's now the only brand I will purchase. This one has a pretty fast transfer rate, is quiet and so far, works perfectly.

i had one similar to this before but the connection point failed and would only work when i held it in, hopefully the same doesn't happen to this one.

I use this to keep a back and love this little drive. Just connect it using supplied usb cable and works perfect.

I recommend it to anybody who wants to transfer pictures from the computer

I hooked this up to my Netgear R8000 router as a cloud/media drive. Works fast and is reliable! Highly recommend!

Great portable hard drive to back up all the important stuff from our desktop and laptops. Pictures, music, etc...

Service was slow had to wait for 10 minutes for help! But after that I was helped just fine Went well in and out!

I purchased this to free up room on my hard drive. The software has worked seamlessly with my WIn 7 pro install.

It was very simple to back up all my computer information as to not loose anything while transferring to my new computer. But, it took a couple of hours.

I have bought 2 of these so far, one for myself and one for a friend its awesome for the xbox one. Installs games perfectly and doesnt slow down. Havent tried on my pc as its meant for my xbox so I cant give an opinion on that. For the price its a well worth investment for xbox one gamers out there.

I do not know a lot about hard drives so thankful for Geek Squad. Easy to use, compact. As good as any other.

Was looking to expand my son's Xbox One memory and this drive is the perfect fit. It came ready to update and instantly started working without any issues at all. I also have the larger 2 GB for my own Xbox and it works just the same. I have always trusted the Western Digital brand since the late 90's.
