Not a bad external drive, it's nothing fancy and loads quickly. Not bad for the price.

Being a desktop user & living in the south, we have to evacuate for hurricanes periodically. Having this external hard drive, as small as it is, allows us to leave the tower behind. We like it so much we bought one as a Christmas gift for a family member.

I needed this for a class. I was going to get a Seagate one but I am glad I didn't! My professor was saying Seagate is an awful brand for drives and that WD is a the better brand. HGST is the best but it's a little too pricey. Also, the berry color is great!

Love this hard drive. Super tiny and portable, and MUCH faster than the old firewire drive I have used. The fact that it doesn't require it's own bulky power cable means I can stuff it in anywhere without needing to plug it into a outlet to power the external HDD

I thought the berry color was nice, so I can easily tell it apart from the 3 other PassPorts I have on my VISTA computer. Out of the box & installed it was recognized by the system and has been happily strumming reliably along ever since. I use it for backup.

All my families memories, from birth of our kids (hopefully) to graduation will be loaded on this baby. It downloads fast, super convenient size. I still use the plastic encasing it came with to store it. A+ purchase for all photos & videos.

I had to find an external hard drive to back up my Mac, but didn't want to get one that was too expensive. This drive was under $60 and did its job perfectly. It backed up all my data no problem and it included a connecting sub cable which was really nice.

This drive was purchased as an alternative to off site cloud stowage. I have not used the backup assistant rather, reformatted the drive as an additional stowage device. It works well compared to others I have tried. Not using an external source of power is a plus and I understand a trade off in performance.

We bought this for our college student to down load the office suite. For his classes, his 2-1 didn't have enough space, also puts his class projects on the hard drive, totally worth the money, he's kinda techie, really easy to set up, am going to get for us .

This is the old model. I saw the latest, and I liked this more. It's lighter n sliker...light to carry n very small. I love this hard drive. I would love to purchase this in a larger size! Next item on my list for xmas! Purchase this: u won't regret it!

The backup is easy to figure out and has a lot of storage space for being so small.

Just wanted an external to back up our pictures of 20 years and 200Gb of music that I have accumulated. Transfer was easy and went without a hitch. Like the 3.0/2.0 capability since 3.0 transfer rate is much faster. It did exactly what I bought it for.
