With no technical knowledge with computers I asked around and read reviews and decided the Passport Ultra 1tb Portable Hard Drive had more than enough space to hold any amount of music, photos, or information that I needed to store on my PC!

So far it's worked fine. Lightweight, plug and play, comes with WD Backup software that is easy to use. Keep it plugged into my desktop all the time as a redundant backup drive to my cloud backup. Looks nice in blue, too.

Bought this to add extra storage for my Xbox One and works well. I have noticed a slight improvement in loading times over the Xbox One internal HDD.

Nice product for saving backup files. Always better to be safely backed up.

I use this 1TB WD HDD as a bootable backup for a Dell Inspiron 24 desktop with 1TB internal disk with Windows 10. Works great and I feel safe that all data is preserved even if the original hard disk would fail (that has happened before).

It was affordable and small. I used to backup and reformat my hard drive.

An external hard drive is always a nice item to have, especially to back up pictures. The reason we purchases is we were having work done on our laptop and Geek Squad saved our pictures to this with hopes that we didn't lose any, and we didn't.

The hard drive is great runs fast and quiet. Hopefully lasts a long time b

So far so good. Just got it for Christmas so I haven't got to use it much.

I use this for backing up media for home theater viewing. Mostly 1080p TV episodes or movies. It isn't the best solution, but for the price you cannot beat it. I have three of these and plan on getting a forth. I also use one for my Xbox One.

I would recommend this unit to anyone. Just plug it into a USB port, a couple of clicks and you're backing up your system with minimal effort. It replaced a much more complicated backup system with just one small cable. Worth every penny.

Was running out of space on my old hard drive and couldn't pass this up.

Replaced a Seagate go flex that would not work with Windows 10 because Seagate was not supporting with an software upgrade. I like this unit better than the Go flex especially the software and easy to setup. The exception is it does not backup a UPps.bin file which I read online is not important but still WD should address as it shows up as a caution in their report.

WD My Passport Ultra is one of the most compact storage device.If you're looking for a compact storage device that offers a huge amount of storage space to carry data or backup on the go, the new WD My Passport Ultra is an excellent buy.
