I'm happy with the storage unit and its a good value for the price.

This product seams good except the backup feature could work better.

I work in IT so an external hard drive is a must for PC/laptop images, programs, installation tools, and files. This definitely comes in handy at work and is thin and easy to carry around in my work bag.

Heard good things about it. I'm just using it to transfer music to just in case desktop goes crazy. I've had no problems with it. Good brand.

Super easy to use. My HD crashed and wasn't backing up properly. I lost many years of data and had to send it to a forensic recovery lab. $$$$$ I'll get one of these every year and back up to it and the cloud from now on.

The data was moved from my old pc onto this external hard drive. It is real easy to use and is handy to update information. I'm especially happy to have it in case of the storm evacuations we occasionally have here in Florida.

Needed a low cost but high quality backup drive, and this WD fits the bill. Small footprint for ease of portability, easy to use and connect and fast speed. Does everything I need in a backup, would purchase another if needed.

I've been quite pleased with this portable HD. It's the perfect size to slip into a work bag or pocket while on the go. I've set up a schedule to automatically download new files to the HD on a weekly basis. Just what I needed.

I have used WD HDD's before and only once have they failed me. Learned my lesson...do not fill these portable hard drives to capacity. Always leave some room on the disk and you shouldn't have a problem. Works as advertised.

I bought this to use as a backup for my hard drive. I didn't use the installed software so I can't say if it is good or not. On a USB 3.0 connection that read and write speeds are quick. This is great portable drive to have!

I have always had good luck with My Passport external hard drives.

Filled my trusty 500gb passport and needed more mobile on the go storage. Very good price on 1tb of space. Initiates quickly when plugged into my laptop, good transfer speed and small size. Great travel size external drive.

This is the greatest way to back-up your computer, or should I say computers! At 1 TB I was able to back-up my PC, my tablet and my wife's tablet and still have room. At the price I paid it was well worth the purchase!
