Picked WD external hard drive to backup my PC. Has free PC continuous backup and is easy to work with. Have many WDs to backup my pictures, music & important docs. Seagate is good too but think WD is a bit easier.

Had alittle trouble at first but called the support line and they were so nice and very helpful. Once I got some info they stayed on the line with me until I got my computer to work with it. It was a great purchase

you can setup schedule backup . all your information will backup to the this hdd . your data will safe .this is what i like .

I love this unit. I like to be able to say my photo's on a drive external from my computer. I don't like to tie up my space with photo's and this is perfect. I can then take it anywhere and share the photo's.

Good product does what it is supposed to do,backup data

I think this does the job that it needs to do. It is my first time buying an external hardrive, and it is very easy to use.

The Best Buy salesman recommended this when I inquired. I told him what I do and what I needed it for, and he was very helpful and explained my options. Always great to have choices and all great products.

Got the least popular color at a cheaper price-clearance because this generation of the product is being replaced with some dual-tone dual texture model. Pick up one of these while you can still get a deal.

I had to change computers and need an External HD to store my old hard dive information but also to have room. for storage, for my new computer. This was the perfect solution and was just what I needed.

Great external storage capacity for a gamer or pictures

My son asked for this for Christmas. He was excited because he plays lots of games. He had read reviews and said this was a recommended item for those who play lots of games and is compatible with his Xbox

Have used several WD My Passport USB HDs for recording HDTV over-the-air via Mediasonic HW-150 PVR. Great, low-cost system for DVR with unlimited storage, just pick up another My Passport, no cable fees.

This External is working well so far. Easy to install by following instructions. I opted not to install any of the back up software, I usually just transfer data as needed, and it's fine for that purpose. Transfer rate when connected to a USB 3.0 slot is good, much better than 2.0. All in all so far seems like a good product.

My laptop hard drive was getting full so I purchased this to Archive a bunch of old files. It's the perfect little drive to get the job done. It transferred data fast and has plenty of storage space left.
