Bought this to back up my failing hard drive on my 8 year old pc. It is very easy to use. My pc eventually crashed but I did not lose my data or photos and can easily access the data from my laptop.

This is my second WD Passport 1TB hard drive from Best Buy. The first was for my wife, the family photographer, to store her pictures and this one was for me to store files separate from my computer.

This USB 3.0 portable external hard drive is great for on the move. I primarily use it as a computer backup for my laptop but it's ideal for almost anything. It was recommended to me by Best Buy staff.

Cheaper buying this then the Xbox Microsoft version. Gets the job done, would recommend dropping $20 more bucks and getting the 2 TB though. Didn't realize that till after I opened and used this.

This Passport has lots of room and I have never run out of storage space. I bought it because my computer crashed and I lost all of my data. I will never have to worry about that happening again!

This is the second we've purchased and would recommend to anyone looking to back up one or multiple computers. A lifesaver when our MacBook had to be sent out 3 times before being declared a lemon!

bought another WD passport HD for back up. this one is easy to connect and forget. backups take place automatically. everyone should have one. my experience wih WD products has been excellent.

Works Great and simple to use for Time Machine backup on my MacBook Pro. Just need to format the drive to use on the Mac first....there are many youTube videos on how to do it.....very simple!

This is my second Western Digital Drive, not because the first one failed, but because it has been that good. I decided I could use a second one, and when it went on sale, it became a no brainer.

High quality, solid support and information from in store folks and installer at my home. A truly positive overall experience. Everyone knew what they were supposed to do and did it promptly.

first external hd ive purchased so nothing to compare to. I do like this very much so far. pretty fast transfer.

I purchased this because I needed a larger drive for backing up my laptop. The included software for doing back ups is easy to install and easy to use. I am very pleased with this product.

Essentially it was everything I wanted. I'm not extremely tech savvy but one of the employees nudged me towards this particular item and I think it was a great investment at a resonable price.

This portable hard drive is great it's fast and small. I was able to fit all my files from my pc to it so now I done need my pc any more I can just use any laptop and still access my files.

I was pleased with how easy this was to use and how quickly it downloaded all the files I needed. Good for the home user to be sure valuable files are backed up in case of computer problems.

This is a very easy functioning product for backing up your computer records. I love how you can create your own backup program or actually do it manually. I'm very happy with this product.

I foolishly had not backed up some critical files on my really old desktop which, of course, finally failed. This portable hard drive saved the day and made it possible to retrieve and transfer my files. Now, I also have something that I can use to take files from my desktop and use wherever I go.

I have an older one, that works solidly, so I figured I'd buy another to back up my work laptop. Plug it in, download the app, and just run the backup. Pretty straight forward and efficient.

CONNECTED TO MY SAMSUNG 65” Class KS9500 9-Series Curved 4K SUHD TV FOR MORE DRIVE STORAGE. IT WORKS EXCELLENT AND IM BUYING ANOTHER FOR MY PC.

We needed this in a pinch to backup a lot of photos that we were using for a ceremony slideshow. Worked great
