I really love that it is light weight and small for the amount of data is stores. Whenever I go away I take my computer and have at least one Passport Ultra Portable Hard Drives with me.

Got it to use with the Xbox and it works great. Good product for the price.

Small footprint for the size of the storage. Very portable and fast transfer times. I have 3 of these and they are great to hand out to friends to exchange pictures from trips together.

I use this to store media for in home streaming. The speeds and storage size are sufficient for me. It is small, and only requires USB power, which are big pluses if you are on the go.

WD never lets me down. I like how it is very slim and gets the job done by saving all my data. Plus, the sleek and slim design make sit not noticeable. I love this and I will get it again

Just what I needed and works great, my laptop recognizes it immediately and transfers over files very quickly. No complaints and it is very easy to carry around due to its small size.

My son does a lot of photography work and needed extra storage space to keep backups of his pics/videos. Even though he uses a Mac, it was no problem to reformat the drive for use with iOS.

My computer was loaded down with over 600 gb of videos, the 1 tb passport is just what I needed. The usb 3.0 is very fast with my laptop and compatible with my older desktop usb 2.0.

I use this for an external hard drive for added materials as well as a place to store a backup for my 2 in 1 Surface 3. It has been a great addition and works as easy as WD says it will.

Works well for storing some of my older data. Was able to free up tons of extra space on my primary drive. Was fast, easy to setup and tons cheaper than adding another internal drive.

Purchased this to make a backup of some files. The speed is great, and the size is great too. About two months after purchasing the drive, the 2 TB drive went on sale which would have double the size for just about the same price that I paid. I would recommend to a friend to go with the 2TB drive.

Basic, straightforward extra removable storage. I didn't use any of the included software -- basically, I just needed extra file storage and this is a no-nonsense way to get extra space.

Nice backup device for my laptop. The enclosed software automatically backs up the files to my laptop without me having to do anything. It runs automatically in the background. Very slick

I had no problems installing this hard drive and the backup runs seamlessly in the background. I have checked periodically to make sure it's backing up properly and so far it is perfect.

I was able to move all of my pc games, music and pics to this external now my surface can keep all of its own space! I love it! Thinking about getting another one for movies but a 2T
