I usedd this to transfer data to repair computer that got damaged by forced Windows 10 download debacle (thanks!). It is a fine storage device and serves the purpose at agreat price.

Hard to rate something that just is there. I imagine everything in ok and working. After I got in a sale mans in the store said I have to un plug it when not backing up! Is That true?

We use our WD Passport for storage on our XBox One. It was easy to install and it works seamlessly. The boys are happy because they have extra storage space for their gaming files.

I usually download my photographs to dual external hard drives. I was going on a trip to Europe and this hard drive is small with a large capacity. Ease of use was also a consideration.

It's quite, USB3 makes it very fast and a lot of storage for the money. I used it to clean up my laptop drive. I can take files form one computer to another and have my files backed up.

Western Digital external hard drives (desktop or portable) are much more reliable and resilient than other external hard drives, and this price was a good one. Easy to order and pick up.

This product is not as MAC friendly as it says, you will need to reformat it before being able to write to it. If you have El Capitan as your OS, it can be quite complicated to do so. There are some recommendations online, but most of them don't work. Just be wary of this. I bought it in white and the design is very elegant and pretty. Works great with Windows.

This seems to work as well as the Toshiba portable hard drive I used for my Win 7 computer. I've only used it twice. I hope it keeps on performing every two weeks when I create a backup for my system. A quality backup hard drive with a terabyte of storage is a very necessary thing to have.

I bought this little guy to hold all my photos, movies and music. I like how I can just take it anywhere. It's easy to use. You just plug it in and it's there. No extra power supply.

A lightening strike took out most of my home computer functionality. I was able to use this device to easily back up our hard drive and photos before we implemented a new computer.

I use this bad boy to move large video files between computers and am a big fan! I actually have a couple of these at home, never had any issues whatsoever. HIghly recommended!

Install had a slight problem with wit windows drive letter allocation which was easily remedied. I wanted to view my photos on Roku and WDHub. Very handy not to need a power cord.

This unit holds all of my photos and more. Small compact size makes it easy to carry with your camera gear. Make sure you label it with your name and phone number in case of loss.

Need more info on transferring data to it....where to find files and make it easier to.open said files.

As it says in the summary this is a great product at a great price. Western Digital has long been a favorite of mine and with the USB 3.0 interface the drive is a rocket ship.

Excellent drive, comes with the backup software. It also supports encryption so your data is protected.

For the size (memory) and price got a great deal for it. I use for storing Xbox one games which are large files but i'm still at only 40% usage and have at least 40 games in there.
