I was able to save my photos and downloads from my crashed computer. Worked but didn't work after I tried to check if it worked on my restarted computer. Needed the geek squad to correct the problem and then it now works. They had to download it again. Tech issue with the device. Anyway, seems good and has saved my would have been lost memories.

I bought this as a gift for Mac user. Although it does require some formatting, we had no issues setting it up. Perfect for on the go storage or a hard drive backup.

I think is a good and fast hardrive that can be used for many purposes including video storage.

Taking my time getting use to my new Yoga laptop. I am sure I will love it. Easy setup so far and light! My niece who is very savvy about computers recommended it to me.

Geek squad recovered our entire computer, including documents, photos and videos onto this compact external hard drive. We still have plenty of space to add more to it.

It does what it is supposed to do. I now have two of these types and I am using one for my back-up and the other is connected to my WRT ACS 1900 router as a media storage.

I've got 2 computers backed up to my Passport as well as storing files from an old laptop. It would have been a nightmare to try to use cds or flash drives to do this.

Bought this unit to work with my laptop. Works fantastic. Very fast. Very portable. Fits in laptop bag without bulging. It came with WD software but I opt for Microsoft.

First the color is great. I use this for all my personal letters, pictures and its very easy to transport ... if you travel as I do, you can take it with you. Love it

This is my third external hard drive from this manufacturer. I have to say that all are working perfectly unlike my computer which I have to replace my hard drive twice.

This is the second hard drive I have bought, it is very good device to storage all my photos and documents from home and work, easy to to take anywhere.

Great product. Only 4 stars is due to the fact that if you use it on a PC you must erase the whole drive and start over if you want to then use it on a Mac. Not the products fault though, I think its all of them. But as far as product goes, good product priced well!

I placed all my vacation pics on my passport not to mention tons of videos. All is well thus far no completes as that's the only reason why I actually purchased it.

Good portable hard drive for the price no problems so far.

This is a great product, and it suites my needs perfectly. It was a little odd to use at first, but once you learn the setup it is convenient and comfortable to use.

These hard drives are wonderful for providing you with a great amount of storage space and I use them to keep my important files backed up and all of my digital photos.
