I got this external hard drive to use it with my NAS as a cheap extra storage. But the small size gave me a chance to take with me as a small portable hard drive

Great backup for my files. I am most concerned with keeping a current backup of my most recent photo additions. This WD keeps a up todate copy of my photo library.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a passport ultra. I have another external by toshiba and it failed after 6 months. My WD externals have been great! No problems!

The product is exactly what I wanted. The customer service is dreadful. I wanted 2 and was limited to one. The need to make multiple trips is exceedingly inconvenient.

I bought this HD for my grandson to use on his Xbox 360. It works great. He can now play games he could not use before. It does not work for the Xbox one though.

This was a great idea I needed more space on my computer and my co worker said why don't you buy an external hard drive, that was the greatest suggestion I love it.

Bought this to save my photos on for my photography class and it's really simple to use on any computer. I can easily transfer files from my computer to the this.

Always reliable, veteran company, Western Digital. My first 40MB drive was a WD, yeah I'm old, and I've always found them to be sufficiently reliable over the years.

I needed an external drive to back up the data off my desktop and this did the job flawlessly. It is a simple plug and play drive that anyone should be able to use.

Very easy to use straight out of the box. I plugged it into my laptop and a few seconds later I was able to start copying my files over. It was a great investment.

It is blue, not white. Geek Squad recommended getting it and it has been in use ever since he installed it. I am very pleased with it and it gives me a security.

User interface wasn't very friendly and backup system was more complicated than I was looking for. I just wanted to drag and drop files onto it to backup but it wouldnt let me do that. Not to mention its also almost impossible to eject/unmount correctly. Erased my data and exchanged it for a toshiba external harddrive that was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my back-up copy of photos that I can easily share with in-laws. Just hand them the little hard-drive, and they have all the photos they could possibly want!

I use this for backing up devices before I wipe them clean (I work on PC’s a lot) to be reset. Hasn’t let me down and I’ve owned it for years.

I use it to download Und movies from m-go. But have two others for my xbox. They are pretty much universal and allow you to format for whatever application you need.
