I've never had issues with any of these I've bought over the years, must have for gamers,music and definitely photo sharing or storage in general

This is the second Western Digital external drive I've purchased to back up files on my laptop and is compatible for both Mac and PC formats.

Good for what my wife needed. She does photography and needed a way to store excess photos easily, and re upload easily. Perfect for the job.

You can not beat the amount of storage this little thing holds. Forget the CLOUD this is much better and you don't need to pat for more memory

no problems so far, was easily able to reformat for use with my macbook. My 3rd WD drive of different types and all are still fully functional :)

I purchased this to backup my Hard Drive and it has been fantastic. it has an extremely fast transfer rate and has been very reliable and durable.

Needed more space for Xbox One, I have the 500G model that first came out. Apparently this on USB 3.0 is faster even than the internal hard drive.

Western Digital has always made pretty solid quality hard drives so when I decided to buy an external they were on the top of my list. This drive has worked good for backing up needed files, and having copies of things off main devices.

I doubt that I will ever fill this @1tb, but it is reassuring knowing the space is there if needed; I have all my old HP stuff.....just in case

Perfect drive for not only doing external drive back-ups but also for carrying files that are not necessarily needed on my laptop day to day.

Bought this to backup some important files. Its small, doesn't require an external power supply, and is relatively fast. Can't ask for more.

I had a lot of video on my laptop I needed to save on an external drive. This product gave me plenty of space to save all my videos in one place.

Use external hard disks a lot to store all types of data and especially like the small size of the WD Passport Highly recommend it to anyone

I feel a lot safer knowing that should something happen to my computer I won't have lost all the important memories like pics of the grandkids.
