This 1TB WD drive was just what I needed. I have never had a WD drive fail. This one is lightweight for great portability. There are bigger drives available but 1TB was plenty for what I needed. The price was right too.

This hard drive runs very well and is durable, for a spinning drive. It is powered through the USB cord, and is reliable. The only thing I wish it had was a faster spinning drive, but this is great for backing up and light travel.

This is my 2nd My Passport 1Tb . Works great for storing my pictures and serves as my system backup. I will buy again and I highly recommend it.

This drive worked exactly as expected. the only problem was Apple breaking NTFS support. A quick format to EXFAT and we were off. daughter-in-law wanted a drive to store photos to clear computer. I've had good luck with WD External drives.

This hard drive was recommended by a Best Buy tech. Easy to setup, including the scheduling of periodic automatic backups. Works as advertised.

I only used for backup pictures, and video, it work perfectly for that.

This drive is no different than their other 1TB drives except for the cherry color. The color helps me keep my drives organized at a glance.

Bought for a Mac and it was super easy to format. I was told it would be hard but not the case and it was $10 cheaper than the one for a Mac.

Bought an external HDD, In order to use with a Channel Master DVR+ for added DVR recordings, simple to use and works great with the interface.

paying full price is not too bad, but when on sale these are really worth it. always good to have extra space for backups, media, etc...

I followed the instructions to the letter but it still wouldn't install the way it was supposed to. I just transfered the items I wanted saved with copy and paste and bypassed the backup feature that didn't work. Other than the installation issues I like the product and would buy another if needed.

Bought for storage of large collection of analog music stored on tape to digital. Working fine so far with no complaints.
