I didn't know if I would like this or not but it's one of the best buys ever. So easy to use to back up my data on my PC.

It is compact, it updates new files, and who needs more than a TB, unless it is a large business. Great product which has updated with time.

I bought this as a backup option for my files and media. Works great, USB 3, transfer speed as fast as 100 MB per second. Enough for me.

Just plug it in and you're all set. Compatible with Mac but needs reformatting, which is still rather simple. No issues with mine to date.

Got this when my old one crapped out. Works great. I wish it came in a true red, like the older model, but functions well, so no complaints.

I love the size and capacity of this hard drive. I use it as a storage device for traveling and it maintaining a copy of important documents.

It was very seamless to pair and use and transfer files. It has made it much easier to transfer data to other units as well i.e. large files.

Bought as a larger backup drive to replace an old 256GB drive. Easy to connect, simple to use, small and seamless. A very nice little drive.

It is certainly portable and USB 3.0 fast but.....TSA denied this as my official Passport documentation. Missed my flight to the D.R. because of it. Heard some places down there are not quite 'Cosmopolitan' as you would think, so not a complete loss I suppose. Buyer Beware.

I had a 1 TB back-up hard drive but when I did the Windows upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 I could not use it. Windows 10 said it was incompatible. And of course Seagate had no fix and did not care. They got your money and that is all they cared about. I went to Best Buy because the sales personnel will give you the best advice their technical ability will give you. I asked for a portable hard drive that would back-up Windows 10 data. I was given advice on a couple of hard drives and I picked the Passport Ultra. It works great!!!!!!

Own several passports for back up of important files and photos, music, etc. Compact allows storage in fireproof safe, safety deposit boxes.

I had already bought one for myself so when my wife ask for one i knew where to go. Plenty of space. I would recommend this unit to anybody.
