Great portable HD

It is not cheap... but certainly is worth it when you have backup of photos and documents, and your computer crash...

This is the third one that I have purchased.

She does no maintenance at all, so it was became my responsibility to do this. Her laptop is 3 years old and I expect a hard drive failure any day now. So, I purchased another WD passport and set up a monthly system recovery image every month on the 1st of the month and also provide a recovery disk. Now, I feel better. Little passports work great and do the job.
