Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Great Storage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this portable hard drive to back up all my personal and work files off of my laptop. So far it works great and I love the high capacity. I backed up everything and still have space to use this for years to come.

Great for several uses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't my first WD external and it's definitely not my last. WD does a great job by making the form factor look pleasing to look at but also is built very sturdy and I have not had any issues with this device.

Good and reliable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use it to backup my Surface PC. I prefer this design over the newer more flashy version. It uses USB 3.0 so data transfer is very fast. I've been using it for a couple of months now and so far is working great.

Good external hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware if you are using for a Mac computer that although it IS Mac compatible, you will need to know/learn how to partition this drive to be able to dump any files to it. The store associate pitched this product as "plug-and-play" and it is not quite that simple, until it is properly partitioned. Other than that it's a great drive.

Best for your Dollars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this (actually) several as I use them for my employees who work on vessels offshore. The environment they work in can bring salt to the exterior, but these never have faltered in 2 years of use. Great product.

Its a Hard Drive. It works, that's it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a solid, durable hard drive that does it's job until one day, like every hard drive does... it dies. I hope this one lasts as long as the last one, which was a long time! I love these drives and you will too!
