Customer Ratings & Reviews

given as part of a graduation gift. Recommended by the Best Buy associate and I know from past experience, this is a good brand.

This product is such a good value, especially with the $25 Visa Checkout discount that I got. Can't beat Best Buy on that one!

This is a great product to safe your pictures or videos that you have. The memory capacity is big enough to save good memories

I had an old computer that kept crashing and I wanted to save the photos and all my documents. Everything transferred smoothly

Compact reliable and portable 1 TB storage option....with fast transfer rate, 3.0 USB and very affordable. It's a no brainer

only down side I was trying to transfer data from old desktop and desktop is so old the hard drive didn't support it. but I will be using it for my new computer. In fact I bought a second one for my mother-in-law.

Seems to work good once we finally got it working. Had to have Tech support help out, but it seemed to do just fine after tgat

Nice, small external hard drive with plenty of capacity. So far has been fast and flawless for backups and external storage.

I was pleasantly surprised that this little portable USB 3.0 drive is almost twice as fast as my large size USB 2.0 hard drive.

I guess I always want more storage devices. WD has a good reputation with me and I will continue to purchase their drives.

No issues, hard drive plugs right in, uploads and downloads fast. It was a good deal.

Great little drive, fast. Got a great price on sale. Cable supplied with drive is a little short, had to buy a longer one.

This was purchased as a gift for my son for extra storage on his Xbox One. It's plug-and-play, and he says it works great.

Worked well with my PS4, but I had to change the operating system on it. May work better out of the box with the recent update. But once I change the operating system, it saved games without any problems.

Now I can back up my hard drive on a regular basis. If my computer crashes again, I won't have to worry about losing info.

Western Digital is a reliable brand and this model has hardware encryption, took about 25 min. to backup about 250 gigabytes.

I need to back up desktop and keep back up off side and rotate it, so I got 3 WD drives. I created a back up schedule and it works great for two devices, but WD application is not recognize third hard drive.

Bought it to backup my Surface Pro 4, it has it's own backup program which updates...

i have used this to back up my other external drives. Its a back up for my back ups:)

The product does exactly what is expected, is fairly quick for an external hard disk, and the build quality if very good.
