Got a new phone and lost data, wish I would have had the external hard drive then! I've backed up iTunes and shows from the DVR onto it. Plenty of room.

I love my external hard drive. Works great and I can get all my work onto one instead of carrying thumb drives around and losing them. I also bought another to back all my photos onto and keep in a safe.

Excellent value and quality. Picked this upon sale ($59.99 down from $99.99) and it was worth every penny. Used it with my Xbox One and the initial setup was extremely easy and only took a few minutes.

My last hard drive burned out and I had been wanting another one for a while. I caught this one on sale and overall heard great reviews with WD-My passport. I was not expecting it to be so small when I got it but it actually suits me perfectly. I am able to sit it on my desk without it taking up space and it is indeed sufficient enough to carry around. Installation was easy, just followed the prompts once I connected the USB cord to my computer.

Works very well, high storage amount for the price. Can simply plug it in and its good to go. Personally i removed all the backup software that was preloaded, so i cannot give a review on said software.

Bought this because my Mac crashed due to power surge in Mexico. I regret not backing it up so I bought this passport. Loved the fact that I was able to partition it and that its compatible with Mac.

I bought the same model before and had just used it for a different computer. It is easy to work with and was all I needed. I'm not a computer expert and I could handle this fine. Esp. for the price.

Have mostly WD drive for last 20 years and they last as long as the PC has useful life. This is used for just OS imaging so will sit on shelf six of seven days a week, hopefully reliable as previous.

Bought this external hard drive as a back up for my iTunes collection. Western Digital are some of the best hard drives around they rarely fail and last for many years well beyond most competitors hard drives. Its pretty simple to use for Win 10/Mac OS X. Just remember the hard drive is formatted out of the box for Windows your need to reformat it for Mac if your a Mac user. I can highly recommend this product to anyone looking to backup or store data.

Overall, Western Digital has the best reputation for hard drives and this is no exception. The drive was easy to hook up and used to back up a computer. Plenty of to rage and speedy for a usb drive.

the WD Ultra 1 TB drive has been a great help for me in taking my work to different places and just plugging in to a USB port and I have everything I need. It is a quick drive for storing files.

After looking into external hard drives for weeks I came across the WD My Passport models and they trump all others. Can't beat the size, the style and the speed of this pocket sized 1TB drive!

This portable hard drive does even more than I expected. It is well worth the price and would have paid more for it. It extremely easy to use even for someone like myself that is not tech savvy.
