Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is a very reliable brand. I've always gone with Western Digital. My only concern was that I should have bought one with a larger storage capacity.

The Western Digital portable storage is super slim and easy to take with you wherever you go whether it is on a trip, to school or a coffee shop.

The drive worked great and set up very smoothly. I used it to back up around 250GB of photos and videos and it took quite a few hours to write it all over. I have had no issues and the price reflects the performance accurately.

This is a great unit it's sleek and compact and holds a ton of files. I like that it's compatible with both Mac and PC and formats easily.

As always WD did a great job of making things easy, compact, and portable in this product. It was easy to set up, and worked flawlessly!

Was looking for a portable drive to backup a hard disk. Needed something that wouldn't require a separate power since an outlet is not always available nearby. This worked well as my portable backup storage for large files.

I purchased a couple of these as external backup drives and they are rock solid. You can't go wrong with WD as far as I'm concerned.

Hard to beat for the price.. I use these to backup video and photo jobs I probably have about a dozen.. They get the job done.

As mentioned before, WD is my number one external hard drive to buy. Easy to use, easy to understand and setup for backups.

I have two of these drives (different capacities and production years). Both have been working for years without problems.

My computer is getting older so I wanted a back up / recovery method. Best Buy was comparable in price to other locations. This is easy to use and can even be password protected for an extra level of security.

NEEDED MORE ROOM FOR MY XBOB ONE. GREAT SO FAR... WAY BETTER THAN COUGING UP A 100.00 BUCKS FOR THE GREEN ONE FROM MICROSOFT

If you want to make sure all your pictures, documents and important files never get lost this is the perfect product.

Simple drive to store data. I do not use the software on the drive. But I use these drives for backup. Work good.

It did exactly what I needed it to do. I was able to format it for my Mac and backup my information easily.

I have been using WD hardrives for more than five years now, no complains yet! Great price, Great product!

this is my 2nd WD portable drive ,old one was full. New drive very fast, much larger storage. Good price

I got this for my xbox one. Ran out of room and transfered all content over and still have room to spare.

I bought this to transfer data from one computer to another. Small size and powered with USB. Great buy.

Easy to use and move files that need to be saved. I found that the online instruction were very helpful
